The most common Xaphoons are in the keys of C and Bb although D Xaphoons are made to order. Other keys are also available for custom ordering, contact us if you wish to enquire about one.
The Signature Series are hand picked by Brian Wittman, creator of the Xaphoon, as among the best he has made. Because each Xaphoon is made from a different piece of hand selected bamboo all will sound slightly different. Any not worthy of the Xaphoon name are destroyed. Occasionally one comes through that rises above the rest. These become the Signature Series.

C Xaphoon

This is the most popular model. It is handmade and has a full 2 octaves with a fully chromatic scale. Included with the Xaphoon is an 8 page instruction guide.
Bb Xaphoon

The Bb Xaphoon is perfect whether you’re a jazz pro or just starting out. Like all xaphoons it has two complete chromatic octaves, however this Bb model is about an inch longer than the C making it play a whole tone lower. This makes it sound even more like a real sax in the right environment. The Bb Xaphoon is reccomended for people already used to thinking and playing in Bb.
