Types of Xaphoon
The original Xaphoon was hand-made form Bamboo. The creator of the Xaphoon, Brian Wittman, cuts the bamboo from the rainforests for East Maui. Because bamboo stalks are all slightly different they have to be carefully selected, making mass production impossible. Bamboo Xaphoons are available in a range of keys.
The Xaphoon was so popular that Brian decided to create an injection moulded version, called the Pocket Sax. The pocket sax is only available in the key of C but sound almost identical to their bamboo ancestors. The Pocket Sax is available in an assorment of colours.
